This is a 3 week course. Members must be physically able to lift and move molds, climb step stools to shelve molds and tolerate standing while working with the liquid slip and molds.
Pouring is a process requiring setting up molds, banding molds, pouring slip into the molds, pouring off the excess slip, allowing the slip to dry, then the absolute joy of opening the mold to reveal a piece of greenware. Members are taught the basics of pouring and being part of a pouring team.
